This website has been compiled and is currently managed by Bosta, the trade federation of the manufacturers / importers and distributors of school, office and stationery products (Belgian Office Products and Stationery Trade Association, www.bosta.org).
Its intention is to provide a channel to better synchronize supply and demand of sustainable office and school supplies.
The selection of products and manufacturers on this website is not based on commercial interests. Companies and authorities increasingly refer to the importance of sustainability certificates such as Blaue Engel, FSC®, PEFC™, Nordic Swan, NF Afnor, Energy Star, Österreichische Umweltzeichen,            
EU Ecolabel and Cradle to Cradle with regard to the selection and purchase of office and school supplies. Logically, only companies which can submit these certificates are eligible to place their products on the Responsible Office website.
In this way we want to contribute to the efforts of the Belgian authorities to purchase 100% sustainable and ecologically by 2020. Companies who value sustainability can also use this list of sustainable office products.
