Dynamic Cassette International Ltd

Dynamic Cassette International Ltd

At Dynamic Cassette International Ltd, we have always had a particular focus on the environment.
Our desire to constantly push the limits of innovation has led our activity towards a simple and ecological concept: recycling printer cartridges and remanufacturing them to lessen the number of cartridges being sent to landfill.
This turning point in our history was an important step towards reducing printing waste worldwide, and demonstrated a strong desire to change consumer habits.

Our path was marked by many major events in terms of consumer awareness and development of the cartridge recycling industry, both on business and product level.
ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications, or the Queen's Award for innovation in Extra- Life technology are just some of DCI successes which demonstrate our determination to shake up conventional thinking and consumer habits.
Each dimension of our business is impacted by our ecological ideal and we continue to innovate in our UK based factory, through our R&D, machinery, packaging, products and internal systems. With all aspects of production located under one roof, this unique and nowadays rare position allows us to improve our logistics performance and remain flexible in all circumstances.

We ask our partners to carry our philosophy and maintain our sustainability model through the complete chain of products. In 2016, we obtained the Kodak license to remanufacture inkjet and toner cartridges. With the intention of developing the brand, we have launched collaborations with other Kodak licensees by expanding our range of products to include photo paper and Kodak batteries which are also part of our environmental logic. We can now offer a complete Kodak solution, while respecting our ethical convictions.

Recycling is a pillar of our ideal and we are constantly developing new ways to improve our field of action. Consequently, we have adopted a paperless policy in our offices, we use recycled packaging and in 2005 we created our own recycling company: The Recycling Factory. Through this new entity, we recycle around 8 million cartridges per year, while committing to ensuring that none of these cartridges end up in landfill. Thus, any product not in condition for remanufacturing is disposed of in a responsible and ecological manner.
